I don't have any plans to add voice chat.. I think something like TS or vent can do it much better. Maybe in a year or something?

I'm HOPING that around new years or early jan I'll get the linux version out. I'll finally get a chance to work on the game a bit more cause I'll be on holidays from my new job. Then I can code it up for a solid week or 2 and get linux released.

Mutant A has Bullet Time only.
Mutant B has Bullet Time and SlowMo Speedup, but does not turn on his Bullet Time.

When Mutant B shoots into Mutant A's Bullet Time, will Mutant B's bullets seek after mutant A?



Asking this because its really hard to see the effect right now and effectively all BT users have SMSU. Before SMSU seeked, SMSU increased bullet speed, and it affected mutant A's BT even if mutant B didn't turn on his own BT.

Hey Bence!
Imma making bx_Refuge and I have one problem with this huge map.

I want to reduce the map by 204 tiles FROM BOTTOM EDGE only. Is that possible? I cant do it in map editor so im asking if you can do it manually.

As you can see bottom zone is not involved in main action and players will go to the enemy base a) through the tunnels b) across the surface. I plan to place both flags on the surface to add more sence to such kind of surface raids. However "Hot zone" is too short and city part is too awesome to leave it without an extension. But I can make this map wider because it's already 512x512. Yes, I want to make it wider. Unfortunately I cant move the upper part downwards and simply stretch it (the city part) in height bcause in this case Ill have to make all the lights again, from zero.

Patiently waiting for your answer.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do so.

The closest thing you can do is copy the whole map, move it closer towards the center such that both the upper and lower areas have 204 extra tiles in total (so probably about 102 tiles per side), then save the map and make the map smaller from top and bottom by about 204 tiles.

However, there's a downside to this method: your zones such as spawnzones, extraction zones, lights etc are not moved. Only the tiles are moved. So you will need to also replace the zones all over again.

I'd recommend that you just leave the lower part empty to save yourself from the trouble.

I've had the same problem... One side was bigger than the others and is unused... I think Ben should add 4 sliders, for every side - increase/decrease map. (left, right, top, bottom sliders). So that we dont have unused tiles in the maps, and result is: better optimized maps, faster loading and better FPS.

Thats why I want to cut off that part. It's 512x204tiles^2 of empty space or just another 104448 useless tiles.

Also try to move that huge upper part. I think I can select it with rmb, click it on the new place where I want it to move and then I'd better go to a shop or just watch some tv untill Subvein calculates that "Earth crust movement".

But it anyway is some crazy thing, to move ground manually and then all the lights, one by one.. this would take hours

If 5 players will play for 12 minutes at my serv.. will it give me 1 CC ?
5*12 = 60 minutes total played. So i fairly should get that 1 CC.
But i am not sure if its working that way. So i am asking, if anyone knows for sure. Or if Ben reads this, answer me pls :D
